Faux Hand Painting

Day 8 in my Watercolor for Card makers taught us some easy ways to get a faux hand painted look. I used my Loew Cornell tray of cake watercolors for this painting.  For this card I used a PaperTrey Ink die as a stencil to start the painting and then added to it.  The greeting is from Avery Elle (Laurels).

thanks for stopping by to have a look!

What a brilliant idea to use that die for a stencil. This turned out awesome.

I've been doing a gratitude project this month and there have been lots of great techniques for pairing stencils and water-color/ other paints in ways I hadn't done before.
